Hi all,
Im most of my way through a garage conversion - its nothing special, more of a nice workshop than a beautifully finished room..
The walls are now done - fully insulated with a vapor barrier pinned, covering walls and ceiling.
And now onto the floor - my plan is to 1st lay a sheet of vapor barrier over the concrete base followed by 50 or 75mm PIR and finish with chipboard. The vapor barrier would lip over the PIR/chipboard and presumably, id cut it back..
But my question is should that plastic vapor barrier be taped and sealed to my existing wall vapour barrier or can it simply be trimmed and left?
hope that makes some kinda sense.
