I was in the loft today and noticed some small seeds lying below where the boiler flue exits the roof.
They are the small dots in 4th pic.
I'm guessing they are somehow coming in from the flue hole.
The house is 7 years old (original boiler) and looking at the roof looks like the plumber had originally removed a roof tile and put the flashing kit in. Is that ok or should it have gone over a tile which should have had a hole cut out for the flue? Not sure what standard procedure is.
It's a Worcester Boiler and I'm wondering if this is what he used -
