Vertical Radiator Fixings

Just got 2 vertical radiators, just seen the fixing brackets and both holes are quite close together, it's to go onto a plastered dry wall, any other fixings suitable for this?
each box says they're 60kg

I will try to find a stud first so i at least get 1 top bracket securely fixed, but sometimes this isn't always possible

And its an actual 2-sided wall, not a battened & boarded brick/block one?

Its away to be my house.
The wall construction is x amount of inch of fyfestone/brick (no cavity), then 1" polystyrene, then 2x2 framing and boarded & plaster skimmed.

The other wall is a stud partition boarded & skimmed both sides

How about cutting 2 vertical strips out of the PB, and inserting extra vertical studs bearing on the floor or sole plate, i.e. transmitting the load of the radiator downwards?

Then patch and make good, which as it will be behind the rad wont show.

I am a joiner, (but been out of the trade for 20 years, so don't know if there's been new fixings on the market now) but it is doable, just need to fix the plaster

The most magical fixing in the world can do no more than not pull out of the PB as it transmits all that load to a sheet of paper wrapped gypsum.

What I did once when boarding out a wall (for levelling and pipe concealment reasons, not insulation) where I knew Id want to fix heavy things was to fill in the spaces between the studs and noggins with sheets of ply. I could then just screw through - didnt even need wall plugs.

yeah, looks like i'll put in a dwang across the top at least, just been looking online, seen gripit fixings, they may do the bottom

A blade fixer might suit - good for 200kg and is a smart cheap simple solution.

Looks like those mounts were made with blade fixer in mind.
