I'm trying to send a short video via email but it says it's too big.

Is there anything I can do to make it smaller to send

If not, upload to streamable.com and just send the link. Or WhatsApp it.

create a private vid on YouTube or WhatsApp it
The other option is to upload to google drive and use a link.

Anyone with an android phone has a Google account* with 15gb of storage. The destination person doesn't have to download a video to view it, it runs within Google Drive. Similar with Word etc files.

* That is true, isn't it? It's been a while...

Yeah, upload to Google Photos / Drive and share from there.

Of course, it might still be too big!
You might be able to upload to YouTube, set as private, and share with other Google account holders.

Or you can zip it up, a multi part zip file can be sent in several emails and then recombined.

There is/was a limit to the size of attachments that are allowed to be sent, some of the servers that the emails go through limit the size
otherwise they get all clogged up.

I collated a video for an uncles 80th birthday, put it on Youtube and gave everyone the link., that worked well.

That's what I do.
There's an option to make the video available only to people who have a direct link.
Once they download it you can delete it from YouTube.

myairbridge is super-simple, free, and allows upto 20Gb to be shared.

I'm not tech savvy, so don't know other options.
That said, I don't need other options, as this works.
