Hi All,
Question related to a Powermaster 10 system, but the Zone Types seem to be fairly standard across the range so any advice is welcome even if you have a powermax !
My question is what zone type should a contact sensor on my front door be ? Obviously it forms part of the perimeter for Arm-Away and Arm, so I thought it should be "Permeter-Follow" to allow me to open and close the door on leaving.
This works fine, but on returning to the house, if I don't have my fob on me, it means the alarms goes off immediately on opening the door before I have chance to enter the code in the hallway.
Is there a zone type that also has a delay on entry ? ( I did have it set to Entry/Exit 1 on purchase .... ), so that I can type in a code on a remote pad rather than use a fob WITHOUT setting the alarm off ?
For reference the contact sensor is an MCT-302 !
Mike
