try rubbing a tiny bit of lather shaving cream or shaving foam on the inside and then wipe it clean with a cotton cloth.

Just warm the visor in warm water first - you will only "steam up" if the visor is cold and your warm breath is condensing on it....

...clearly I'm the only one who wears eye glasses on here! hahaha
