Voltage leak in bathroom

Just to finish off the thread. We have now found a great local electrician :D who resolved the problem, and I asked him to do a whole inspection on the house to make sure everything is OK. The issue was dodgey wiring in the landing, which with condensation in the wall managed to create a circuit.
 
Which the others should have found ! :rolleyes:

The shock may be due to the shower basin becoming live via an impedence that has till now limited the current to a tingle.

The leakage being from a LIVE conductor via damp timber flooring and then moisture on the plastic material of the shower tray to the person's feet.

Possibly due to a water leak making the floor under the shower wet and this dampness reaching a live conductor in lighting ciruit of room below.
