Vrt 350 thermostat

Hi I have a vaillant ecotec. 28 year 2020 with a vrt 350f thermostat with built in receiver I want to put netatmo smart thermostat in but how do I over ride the built in receiver thanks

I think it would be done when the wiring is installed for the new thermostat, but if not then remove and fit a blanking plate.

Yes I have removed the receiver but the boiler seemed to override the new thermostat when testing it

Then you have a different issue. Was the 24v link removed? Post photo of wiring if unsure.

Yes removed RT link wired new thermostat to that then the new receiver has a button you press a light comes on the boiler comes on press it again it goes off, but it just kept flashing I dont no if you just pull the receiver off the boiler does that cancel all the settings are do you have to do something else

Yes, just pull the receiver off, or leave it in place and the new one should override it
