What are these holes for on my toilet on the side? One side is open and the other side there is a plastic cover on it. Its strange

Is the pan a BTW one?

If so, my best guess is that they are holes in the porcelain so you can access the fixings. One hole has a plastic plug missing.

Apparently he said that one only came with the toilet. I remember 2 coming with the toilet. Most likely lost the other one thats why he said that. Also how come my toilet seat, the part you sit on smacks down so fast. It use to go down in a slow motion, now it just smacks down. You have to manually put it down so it doesn’t break or anything

Often the soft close action disappears because the mechanism wears.

Probably have to get a replacement SC seat.

Is it because the quality of the seat is poor? I haven’t had the toilet for long. It is new and got installed like 8 months ago. I redid my whole bathroom

Holes for the water inlet piping to the bottom of the cistern, hence why you only have one plug????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Its a crap seat . (lol)

Just get a new one, but take the old one with you when you do to make sure its the same size. There is nothing more annoying.....

Alright. Might just get one from amazon. They do the similar type of seat. Also it looks good.

What do you mean? Your english is poor. Explain it better. I didn’t purchase the items online. I got it from a local shop near me.

Alright. Might just get one from amazon. They do the similar type of seat. Also it looks good.

It's too late for some; but my advise is if your revamping your bathroom don't use;
DIY chains
Big Internet names
Small Internet companies
Unless your buying branded names.

Do your home work with what you buy and who you employ...... there are lots of shysters out there...
