in this context i would say yes,

we use the term rubbish to mean, not good, stuff you put in the bin.

Americans put trash in the trash can, but if something is not good then it is rubbish

If you've noticed it changes crap (spelled c - r - *- p) to rubbish.

The fact it was the wordfilter also explains the switch down from all caps to lower case.
