Washing machine and dryer to same waste pipe

I have a new heat pump tumble dryer and It’s recommended that this is plugged into a drain pipe. However the drain pipe only has one connector which will be used by the Washing machine. Please could someone advise what is the best way to connect two drain pipes (dryer and washing machine. In this setup. Picture attached.

Change the trap for one with 2 spigots

Thanks, how do these prevent water from one spigot going into the one on the other side one? Is there a non return valve fitted?

Both spigots point upward, and water doesn't run uphill, couple that with the laws of gravity and Bobs your Auntie !
