Looks to me like an overheat cutout that didn't cut-out in time! So the question is what has caused that damage without the cutout cutting out to prevent it? That needs investigating before any repair as you could be creating a serious fire hazard. You may be able to source a replacement motor from an online parts supplier -that would probably be the safest option.

eg: https://www.4whirlpool.co.uk/washin...roduct.pl?pid=794721&path=600169&refine=motor
(note - this is probably not the correct motor - you need to search/check the part number on the unit. Looking at the price of the one I've linked to, a new machine might be better value!)

This type is brushless. I had just wanted to know what that box is all about.. but it plays an important role and seams not to be selling outside ..
Someone said cleaned it up an reconnect. But what you wrote made sense! something did not activate before the cut out came into play. So i am not goin to reconnect.. Just have to continue sleeping in the guest room until this lockdown passes ..lol

Changed lots of motors for washing machines my mum owed a number of years ago. Most of them caused by them getting blocked up and not draining well with items stuck in the waste outlet.
