washing up liquid and silicone

hi ive read in many places not to use spit and your finger to smooth silicone but to use your finger or special tool and use washing up liquid. the question is do i mix water with it or just use it straight thanks in advance

make up fairly weak soultion of washing up liquid and water in a squirty bottle.

Give it a shake and then leave to settle back to a liquid rather than bubbles.

Then just squirt using a fine spray and smooth silicon with your finger.

i dont rate using washing up liquid to be honest.

best way is plain water on your pinky
