WASPI women

decade of austerity
public services destroyed
huge increase in wealth inequality
huge dive in living standards for the majority of the population

since 1955 Conservative governments would achieve average annualised growth of 2.65% and preside over 14 recession quarters.

Labour governments are more consistent in their performance and manage to tackle recessions better.

We examine the growth of the UK economy under the administration of the Conservatives andLabour, the two political parties which have alternated in power since 1955. Our main findingis that the UK economy has grown with a similar pace under either government, howeverLabour administrations seem to do better in tackling recessions and show a more consistentperformance. Labour’s advantage becomes more pronounced if we discount the effect of the2008 Financial Crisis.

Labour do well if you ignore the times when they didn’t.

No. They were pretty poor tbh. Doesn't make Starmer any better. I think his lying is much more obvious though.
I dont think its lying, it's just stuff we don't want to hear.

It's what is needed though. The tough facts.

I do appreciate you recognise the Tories as poor, although I would have described them as much worse than that in the latter part of their power.

Tories were total crap at times. Lying toads. I really hoped for a change from Labour. So far they have promised the earth in the run up to the election, claiming every promise was fully funded. Then they crap on the oldies twice and kill the economy.

Its like we have gone from the **** shovel to the pile of **** under the guise of "difficult decisions" -- listen out for key words being pushed like - "stabilise" "foundations" - who and how much did they pay to come yo with that propaganda rubbish.

I still don't understand wtf these women are claiming?
They were not informed about the change by the government? Heck I knew all about pension changes, it was in the news.
Where have they been since 1995 that they did not know and did not adequatly ensure they have a pension setup? Living on a small island (not this one).

I'm sure we were all told about pensions in the 90's-2000's.

Was the economic crash in 2020 due to Conservatives or a global pandemic?
Was the global financial crash in 2007 due to global events or was it Labours fault?

Have a think about how you answer as you might look silly……

Yes you are right but the issue is labour were full square behind the waspi women before the election. I wonder how many -- and their husbands voted for labour based on the thinking that labour were behind them. Its a deceitful betrayal. So much so that never again will anyone trust any of the established parties in what they say. Which leaves the door open for reform at next election - if reform get in then it will be 100% labours fault.
Take a look at this lot.

I was listening to Henry Hill (Editor of Conservative home) last night on sky, he made the exact same point, their case seems to be based on the fact they weren’t told, which seems hard to believe.

Reform are the biggest liars in politics, only thickos would vote for them.

I’m sure you will vote for them

everything they couldnt afford
You mean like Boris Johnson’s 40 hospitals
Or maybe you mean Jeremy Hunts cut to NI (which was unfunded)

I note you’ve still not said what Labour promised before election
