Water hammer in bathroom

My bathroom is downstairs and every time the washing machine is on or you turn the cold tap on or off fast at the sink I get a loud water hammer sound and I think the steel bath is not helping so can I get sound proofing for a bath to see if this help quiet it down.

May be your stop cock needs changing.
Or get a mini expansion vessel fitted on the cold main.
Also unclipped pipework can cause this.

There's a few to choose here.
Depends if you want it to come with a fitting to connect to the cold main? And if that's 15mm copper?

For now adjust stop cock. Turn twist to the left or a twist to the right.

Then give it a go. If not at first then try another turn or the other way.
