Hello

I am having some work done on my property, it is a ground floor flat converted in the 80's from a house.

The electrical supply and consumer unit runs into my flat under the stairs to the first floor flat. To the left of the electrics are three existing pipes, a gas pipe which supplies the upstairs flat, a shared water supply that supplies both flats (stop cock is right at the base of the floor in lead) and a third pipe I still haven't worked out what it supplies.

I have had a new bathroom and radiators fitted, in doing some the plumbers have added a spur off the water pipe (with blue lever) which they will the connect at the top to a cold water supply for the new rads.

My concern is that it now sits above the electricity supply and if there was a leak or it dripped it would be dangerous.

I suggested moving the spur to the upright of the existing water pipe but I think the reality is there is no good place, if there was leak it would spray everywhere, I am thinking I will just box in the electrics and lag the pipes so there is some protection in the event of a dripping pipe.

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
