Water Pump

Nobody asked how this is plumbed? Does the pump have its own dedicated supply from the tank through a flange of some sort?

Thanks bab I misread so have deleted a parag.

Might be worth disconnecting flow switches one at a time to see if it's just one doing it?

Chris hav u read all the posts . the shower works fine its the triggering of the pump by other draw offs thats the problem.

Hi bab,

Thanks for your input i belive you have got it on the nail and i understand. Before i have to rip half the house apart to chase the wire to put a switch in do you thing a double check NRV (as you have suggested) would make any difference at all.
seperate feed is to big a job and if i put the pump before any feeds are taken off means putting it in a bedroom.

sorry if ma post wasnt that clear . when i said a double check may stop it a meant the flow to the valve not the problem sorry. it might stop it surging or it might stop the cold getting through at all. u could try it if its the only option but i wouldnt hold me breath. its repipe or electric isolation in my opinion.

Thanks to all who helped on this especially bab.

The result was that two days after i fitted the NRV to the cold, it solved the problem.
Why after two days i have no idea.
But all the draw off's (sink, bath and toilet) no longer trigger the pump.

Cheers
