Hi, I built a small lean to roof during lockdown between my wall and the existing fence. The roof needs fixing now as it was just using cheap corrugated plastic but while I do this I would like to fill in the gap between the lean to and fence to make it more wind and rain proof. I have attached a few pictures as I wonder if I should add a few more uprights to then add some horizontal beams and add a complete height of some overlapping external wood. This would then give 2 skins as I would have the existing fence and the new panelling to cover the whole height.
Or I wonder if I could just fill in the gap somehow by perhaps adding a beam onto of the fence posts and running small bits of overlapping panels across the small section. I though i could then maybe just staple some membrane across the inside of the fence to cut out the wind?
I have not included pictures of the end but they are open so easier to work to as it would need to be totally new. Dilemma is should I utilise existing fence or ignore and just build another skin.
Thanks
