If a statue of a person in the park on a horse has both front legs in the air, the person died in battle.

If the horse has one front leg in the air, the person died as a result of wounds received in battle.

If the horse has all four legs on the ground, the person died of natural causes.

It's got nothing to do with fabled myth of past times.

Supposition, thats all. Case studies give it 60/40 in favour of being incorrect.
Good one though.[/quote]

Alan Davies suggested this on QI and Stephen Fry confirmed it is utterly false.
Surely our National Treasure wouldn't lie!?

There is an awful lot of misinformation supplied within that show, and I see no reference latterly in the link to support/deny this, but I have been taught at an early age, that what the OP is saying is true.

People confuse Stephen Fry, and the 'gameshow', QI, as a factual show, and the actor/presentor as some kind of oracle, especially as to how the scores are based.

I initially see no information in the link to dispute this; so is you have evidence, please correct me.
