Had one company come to quote on renovating wooden sash windows recently, and their quote came through.
Bottom line is, a grand per window... they're fairly standard 2 over 2 windows. In decent-ish nick with some repairs to timbers needed and then the standard renovation treatment. This is not to replace any glass, or to re-paint - it's to repair the frames and sashes as needed then draughtproof them.
That seems a heck of a lot to me. Especially as I'm sure the person said they expect one person would do one window per day, on-site. Or am I just out of touch?
