For sure......I first went there on my J reg Pan European in 1991, and it was possible to park right on the Mont.
Next, it was parking on the causeway and later right on the mainland, bus provided!
It’s a nice hike up to the top though.

Look very close to each other. We could share a roll as Mayor.

I put that address in the satnav to see where it is.

Later this evening I got a call out.5 mins away. Put the satnav on with the address.

Satnav said 7½ hours.

It was taking me to France and not Roydon. Lucky I noticed this early as once on that ferry there is no turning back.

Best of luck getting anywhere near the Mont St Michel, Mottie.
Turned out to be no problem at all. We were advised by our hotelier to get there first thing as it opened at 9.00. We did that, parked up, jumped on the free courtesy bus and it dropped us just outside. Started to fill up as we left though.

Are there any public car parks close by, Mottie?
John
I’m not sure. I think @Bod ... used one. They have their own absolutely massive car park - the size of a Disney one. Not cheap though - cost us €17 for a couple of hours. Courtesy busses from the car park and back are free though.

had a P&O cruise June/July, but wife insisted, against my better judgement, that we bought a touring caravan (again). So that is us in Blighty for a couple of years. Actually suits me,if we get decent weather. I rarely get escited about the prospect of hanging around airports

There was a left turning before a build up of traffic B&B's either side.
Best way I can describe.

Just parked on side of road. Free

It was a long walk through the sheep fields, a nice walk.
