What a caper

guessing?
If you've read any of my posts you'll be aware how reeedicklious that sounds.
Have a read of the link and find out how bad the atmosphere in the squad was in the build-up to the WWC.
I'm not interested in an off-topic chat about the feelings of other players, thanks.

I have made my points about the kissing on the lips thing and your naivety.

Then you're ignoring the context of this story.

If she was truly 'outraged' i'm sure she'd have let her feelings be known immediately. Women tend to react sharply to that kind of impertinence from an over familiar man.
not when they are on the world stage and are used to keeping quiet

If you think they're 'used to keeping quiet' you haven't paid attention to the atmosphere in the squad in the build-up to the WC.

You mean the ones who actually won the thing?

You post like they were mere bit-part actors in the whole thing.
All the world's a stage, something, something actors, something something..i forget the rest.

I mean under those sorts of specific circumstances. Possibly either too shocked to do anything, or just knowing that best thing is to wait until after the world's cameras are switched off. Although it would be good to see a woman give a guy like that a Will Smith slapping on TV.

It is the normal reasonable quality of your previous posts that caused my surprise at your intentional misrepresentation of Noseall's comment.
I would hav expected it from fillyboy, nwgs, gant, et al, but not from you.

Maybe the fact that Rubiales was filmed acting as he did, that gave the Jenni the strenght to complain.
"The irony is that women are so often told an allegation is meaningless without evidence," says Ms Bates.
"But what we can see from this case is that even when the evidence is iron-clad the woman is disbelieved anyway, so we really can't win.
"This happened on an international stage, witnessed by millions... and yet both Rubiales and the entire football institution told her she was wrong."
A BBC survey in 2017 found half of British women have been sexually harassed at work or a place of study. More than 60% of those said they did not report it.
"What we're seeing happening to Hermoso here on the world stage is so devastatingly familiar for millions of women," says Ms Bates.
"The man who takes advantage of a work event, a Christmas party, a handshake, a photo, to lean in too close, put their hand lower than they should.

In that situation?

Many women (and blokes for that matter) have been groped or assaulted, whilst in an uncompromising situation like a very public photo opportunity. It's a power thing for the assailant.

Totally agree with you. I watched that as it happened and said to my MRS that aint right what he did there. Oddly, to me, she said maybe they're friends or summit? I told her IMO that was wrong and she wasn't happy about it but kept quiet so as not to ruin the moment. Big up to her for doing that. There is a very thin line with this sort of stuff. He was on the wrong side of it. Just my opinion of course.
