see if your existing switch wires are ran in conduit or capping, sometimes with capping only a small bit of chipping out us required if it stops short of the ceiling or box, you never know your luck.
As someone else said, if you are going to chase the walls out and put something in which isn't 'normal' then install conduits so it can be replaced with conventional wiring if required in the future, you can also add additional cables yourself in the future should the need ever arise or if you have to replace a section of damaged cable ect.
I would be interested in how you get on with this, as these web brick systems are something which i have only read about, and not a great deal at that.
