I have been very pleased with my Metrinch sockets and spanners over the years. Well made and cuts down on the number spanners and sockets you need as the same spanner does metric and imperial as well as BSE and BSF at the same time.
Also as they grip on the flat of the nut rather than the corner they can turn nuts and bolts that other spanners won't. The only downside is that they have a bit of free play before gripping so in tight spots you have to reposition the spanner more frequently, however this is what a sockets are for

I got mine from Farnell some time ago now. There are possibly clones on the market by now as I suspect the patents have expired as I first saw these on Tomorrows World!!!
