A bit of trivia. Pinot Noir is one of the main grapes in most real champagne.
Water, oxo cube, red wine, redcurrant jelly, balsamic vinegar, grated garlic and red wine. Reduced down to a lovely jus.
Pinot Grigio blush with our seafood pasta tonight.
Asahi Dry
English sparkling wine.
More expensive than some real champers.

Nipped into local for a couple of Doom Bars early eve yesterday. Just finishing the first when some people I didn't know on the next table passed over a pint of DB saying it was gratis if I wanted it. They'd bought it in error for one of them and he couldn't drink it due to his meds. Coming a couple of hours after my van had passed the MOT - yesterday was a good day.
