What are you watching on TV right now?

Undeclared war - Racal RA17, old Hammerlunds, 12wpm - wonderful, looks realistic too, rather than a set.

A good documentary on Sky Arts this weekend; Beatles Stories, told by friends and contemporaries of the Fab Four from around the world. I think my favourite was Henry Winkler meeting Paul McCartney on a street in New York in the late 70s during the heyday of Happy Days. Imagine. The Fonz and a Beatle stop to chat on a street. Blew his mind when Paul told him he loved the show. Well worth a watch if you like the band.

The opening ceremony for the commonwealth games. They do drag them out, don’t they? Just send a rocket up or fire a gun and get on with it. Same with closing ceremonies. Can’t stand 'em.

Not wildly keen on football, and the women's game is a bit soft.

Might watch some Commonwealth games. As my wife pointed out, we can all ogle the fit young people in skimpy revealing clothes.

Blackball on Amazon, thanks to the recommendation in the Obits thread.

To catch a thief on iPlayer. A bit cheesy nowdays but was probably okay in its day.

Weightliftng in the commonwealth games. It’s given me a hernia just watching it!

Van der Valk. Set in Holland. Trouble is, just like that other series, Murder in Provence which is set in France, all the actors speak English with regional accent!

Commonwealth games. Beach volleyball. :p

Men! :(
I don't bother watching the men as they are not very good at it. The ladies are much more skillful than the men so I prefer to watch them.

Marriage, new BBC drama..turned the rubbish after 15 mins ,had to watch that long to see if it really was that bad which it was

I was doing something on the laptop while it was on. I can assure you it didn't get any better. Nicola Walker is a great actor, pity.
A hackneyed subject, so the writing had to be good. It's not, it's feeble.

Enjoyed it, IMO gave a typical insight into an average marriage that has lasted for thirty years .
and the main problem centered around a " Baked Potato" such is life .
