What are you watching on TV right now?

Linsey Denton on Line of duty, superb performance

Yes, she was amazing. I think she should have won a BAFTA for that.

Speaking of Keeley Hawes, this has reminded me that the first time I saw her, was in about 1996. She had a small part in a Dennis Potter TV series called Karaoke. It was the only Dennis Potter show I really liked. Albert Finney was the lead, and I thought it was brilliant. I caught it again a few years ago on All4. Also had Richard E Grant.

Well, not quite yet, but I'll be watching BBC2 at 8pm, to see if it's any good - The Secret Genius of Modern Life. Supposedly starts with Alexa..

Not TV but listening to the new Colditz book on R4, read the originals but this is a more realistic account without the romanticism.

The History of Mr Polly, I used to hate it - it was one of the books we were forced to read at school. The film is very amusing.

Three Men in a Boat, was a much more amusing read, than the film.

Both nice clear diction...

Last evening, I binge watched the first 3 'The English' on BBCi.

Sadly the diction was not of the same quality, in some parts, which rather distracted from it.

I've been watching some of the history channel's world at war of late. The accounts are mostly pretty clear warts and all.

Phantom of the Open, with Mark Rylance.

Half way through, so far so funny.

Anna and the King - am I going soft in't 'ead?

To be fair - it was on, and I was half occupied with something else at the time..

I’m watching a series called Fuego Cruzado, it’s in Spanish (dubbed) so I didn’t immediately realise that I had seen it. I kept thinking ”this is familiar“. Also, I recognise the place where it was filmed, and I remember seeing all the motorhomes last year when they were filming it and wondering what was going on.
It’s Crossfire, they are showing it on Spanish telly. It was filmed not far from here in a hotel in San Blas, which is where we go for a walk a couple of times a week.
If I remember, I’ll take a photo and post it.

Royal review of the year on BBC breakfast. Our Queen did a cracking job throughout her whole lifetime. Some things you don’t miss until they are gone. :(

I'm just about to watch Carols from Kings which I recorded a little earlier.
