Hi Everyone,

Long time lurker, but havent ever posted before.

Just wonder if someone could offer some quick advice.

Looking to spruce up the outside of the house and the black band below the render is badly faded, Can anyone suggest what paint I should be using? Would a masonry paint work or should I go for something more durable like black bitumen paint? Its solid wall if that makes any difference?

Keen to take advantage of the mild November and get it done before the weather really turns.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Black masonry paint should be fine. Leyland Trade masonry will be suitable and will be cheaper than the likes of Dulux Trade.

You only need 1L but you may need to purchase a min of 2.5L

Thanks for the recommendation Opps. Picked up a tin yesterday. Hopefully it will stay warm enough to allow me to get a coat on.

Cheers
