There is nothing wrong with political discussion. It is the invariable resort to insults and abuse that makes the discussion pointless and invalid.
Opinions are valid. Repetitive insults trying to prove one's opinion is 'most worthy' is to completely undermine that opinion.

The Eurozone only managed a few months of stopping quantative easing before it had to introduce it again to prevent recession.
