I can't remember, though I have been told that there was the occasional dog-fight over SE England between the Spitfires and the Messerschmitts.

It says some British spies were found in Russia 5 yrs after going missing Burgess and Maclean.
There was some bloke called Elvis Priestly who seemed quite a good singer. A Royal Navy diver went missing in Portsmouth (probably after too many beers)
An some bint called Marilyn Monroe got hitched to some chap that wrote plays called Arthur Miller. I reckon he also invented Miller Lite (probably)

Well I've looked , as you do and-
I'm the same age as Mike Meyers, Helen Hunt and Tori Amos, the top selling movie was Cleopatra,Giovanni Battista Montini became Pope Paul the VI, Astro Boy became the first serialsed animated programe on Fuji TV in Japan and the Beatles played a gig in Abergavenny.
Oddly enough there was no mention of a small news story coming from Dallas on november the 22 about some bloke called Kennedy being shot

Sept. 27. 1940 Volunteer South African Flying Officer Percy Burton - wounded and out of ammo rammed a Messerschmitt BF110 over Hailsham . All crews were killed . The other half said I should be lucky that it was Kennedy and not Lincoln so of course I tried putting in 1865 just out of interest but it doesn't go back that far. The earliest year it will take you back to is 1900 which begs the question is there anyone on this forum 111 years old ?
