Had to pop over to my daughters to wire in a new cooker after hubby shattered the oven door glass whilst cleaning it. She went on line to try and buy a new glass or door and no-one supplies them as spares. Could get a second hand one for £90 but no guarantee it would fit or when it could be delivered. Only option was to click & collect a new one so dad had to go and connect it as she doesn't trust hubby with a wooden spoon right now.

Put together this top box. Bought the wardrobe 6 years ago from a shop that since closed. Found the to box on Wayfair after months of searching. German product that is often rebranded it seems.

Went for a lunch time stroll in a local park and bumped into my stepdaughter and granddaughter who were also there. Little one had a sled and was fearlessly launching herself down the snow covered side of a deep crater. 5 years old and no fear of danger. She's well aware she could get hurt but still went down with her hands in the air laughingly screaming.

Today I fitted a new brick light on the pier to my front wall. Old one hadn’t worked for years but it was connected to the two lights either side of my front door. The power to them is always on as they are controlled by hive/Alexa. I replaced the brick light with a similar one that took an ES27 hive/Alexa bulb so all three now come on at dusk and go off at midnight or when I tell Alexa to switch them on/off.

Right, I’m now going to make a beef casserole and pop it in the oven to slow cook for our tea tonight. :)

Oh yes! Came out bloody luvverly. Meat was very tender and my dumplings were light and fluffy. Added a handful of pasta half an hour from the end, steamed up a little bit of veg and voila! Well chuffed with it. Even Mrs Mottie cleared her plate which is unusual for her - I normally finish off her leftovers. :mrgreen:
