What have you been doing today?

I've just been searching for the long running thread about what are you having for dinner tonight. I may be having one of my regular brain f@rts. There was a thread? I'm not imagining it? Has it been removed?

I'm noodling around with plans for a garden project and thought i'd just put the match on to see how games would go today, since United actually have a 3 o'clock kick off,..4 minutes gone and they're 0-2 down. FUR minutes!!!
What in the name of Beelzebub's goat is goin' on?
After spending a bajillion quid on another bunch o' clowns to fill the gaping holes in midfield and somehow finding swiss cheese to the central defence they still can't get their sh!t together!! It'd help if Martinez was taller than a Mexican midget and Lindelof's head wasn't made of 50p pieces, or McGuire could find Old Trafford with a flashlight and a ****ing map.
All i'm asking for is a semblance of competence. Maybe someone in Head Office giving the appearance of having a clue what to do with this mob. But nooooooooooooooo. That's far too ****ing much to ask.
Two down. In 4 minutes. To FOREST. For Zark's sake.
Sometimes this team makes me wanna kick a kitten through a ****ing window!

Took my drone over the field this morning for a bit more flying practice. Was a bit of a breeze blowing so the gps was working overtime to hold it steady when hovering. Really weird - you can let it hover at about head height, it’s stays rock steady, then if you get hold of one of the legs and pull it away from that spot, it pulls against you and if you pull it a few metres and let go, it returns to that very spot! Anyway, I sent it a fair distance up and away - could hardly see the thing - I had a bit of a panic so I just hit the 'Return to home' button. It dropped down to the set RTH altitude, made its way back to me and gently landed about 4ft from where it started. Phew! When I get a bit more experienced, I’m going to send it up to the top of our local windmill and take a few pictures. Be good if I could take it on a working day and whizz it between the sails.

United came back to win 3-2 with a dodgy pen.
Suddenly my world makes sense again. Huzzah!
I'm off out to cuddle a kitten.:D

Going out in a bit - MIL's birthday BBQ. Early dog walk, called in to the allotment on the way back, picked a nice mixed box of veggies for our daughter - very colourful, I must say. Green peppers, chocolate peppers, green and red chilli's, butternut squash, several types of tomato, golden courgette, cucumber, aubergines, beetroot and Borlotti beans. She should be able to make a nice meal with those. :giggle:

Went home, grabbed my drone and went up to the windmill. On reflection it was a bit too breezy but I managed to get a couple of shots from the drone.

Wife was working today (she’s a call handler for a Northern Ireland company) so I brought her cups of tea and made lunch. Now we’re clearing out the living room ready for the decorator to come tomorrow morning.

Meanwhile the cats are wondering why we’re messing up *their* house again!

Yeah, every time we change something significantly, the cat gets very perturbed!
