What have you been doing today?

Thank you kindly, Sir.

It's not the way I wanted to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of breaking my right leg....

You couldn't make it up.

November 2014 Spiral fracture of right lower leg, requiring an external fixator.

November 2024 Severe fracture of left ankle, requiring screws and plates.

I'm staying in bed for November 2034....

the battery cover was off so I think someone had tried to pinch my battery in the night and was disturbed
I got a rollicking from Mrs Mottie this morning for leaving the glovebox open and the contents all over the floor of the Golf as well as leaving the centre armrest up and the cubby hole door open. Yep, I forgot to lock it last night and some little shìt came along at 3.30 am and rifled through the car. Can’t see anything missing except my near depleted parking/trolley coin pot - didn’t even have a pound coin in there so he probably got away with about 48p in loose change. She's come up with a good idea though - leave it open again with a mouse trap left in the glove box. :ROFLMAO:

Went to charge the car and the stupid forecourt was painted with thick smooth blue paint. Coupled with the rain, it was mega slippy I slipped onto my back and heard a massive cracking noise from my left leg as I went down.
What’s the point of painting the whole outside floor area with paint? Should be a non-slip paint if any. I know money won’t make you better any quicker but surely you have a good claim for damages against the owners?

That's what the guy who helped get into the car said.

He's used those painted forecourts before and nearly slipped and he's 100% able-bodied.

Sorry to hear about your fall, that's really sh!tty luck. Hope they are looking after you well and soon have it mending.

Would imagine you have a claim there. That is going to cost you a lot in time, inconvenience - as well as financially. The paint/coating isn't fit for purpose.

Also, I bet they don't have that trecherous paint around the petrol pumps. Just sayin'. ;);););)
