Wish I’d had thought about it a day earlier though - I could have got £50 cashback on it but the offer expired on Sunday.
Result! I got on to the Karcher promotion company and asked them if they could accept my cashback claim as it was only a day out.....and they said yes! Sent my details off to them as requested and I will be getting a £50 pre-paid MasterCard sent to me.

What does 'full control' mean, Mottie? I've got a few old cars and would like to get a pressure washer. Karchers that I used years ago had no pressure control and seemed too powerful for some jobs. Wouldn't like to use full power on cars with 40 year old paintwork. Is this the sort of washer to have for my needs?

Personally, I have found pressure washers to be of no use for washing cars (ok, the foaming lance is a bit of showoffery, but not sure it actually makes much difference).
Better, plenty of soapy water, sponge or mitt rinsed regularly, to avoid swirling the dirt across the paintwork.

Certainly had more luck with a £400 pressure washer than I have with our bonds this month!

Ours went in the draw first time in April - won £75, great start. May was £50 - £25 this month. With this track record will be nowt next month!

Has anyone ever had anything bigger than £25 wins?

Thanks Brigadier. I'm only going to use pressure washer to pre-rinse, then sponge and shampoo and then use again to rinse off. Nothing beats doing it by hand and finishing off with a bit of a leathering. (y)

You can control the power from low to high on the Lance. Some have a twist function to control the power of the jet but on my one it is controlled by Bluetooth on the Lance handle.

Try it on your car Mottie, and report back (y)

My personal experience, either strip the top coat (or worse), or just an expensive way of wetting the paint.

Good for some jobs, but washing a car? Better off with a bucket of water.
