What have you bought today?

Just looked it up on the Valspar site. Nothing to do with B&Q. If you don’t like it, you buy another then start painting the new colour. You have to then take a photo showing at least 1 sq/m of the old and new paints on the wall together, take a photograph of both receipts, upload them to Valspar and they refund you. Not bad when you’ve just wasted £46 on a can of paint.

Just finishing off my skirtings and the bottom inch of the wall and received an email from Valspar, refund has just been processed and is on its way to me. Bloody good service. Anyone want to buy 4 litres of 'pond Leaves'?

Just been up and done the weekly shop. One of the things on the list was 'plain flour'. Sainsbury’s had a special on. A 16Kg sack of plain flour for........one pound!!! Of course I snapped one up but, was Mrs Mottie happy? Was she ****! "Where am I going to put that, you fool" she said to me. Women, never happy are they?

Like my f-i-l buying morrisons pizzas for stupid deals ( I glazed over straight away, but it was something daft like buying a trolley full for 4p each).

So he bought a trolley full.

Last week I did a 'company' shop. End of company tax year spend - bog roll to see us well into the next lockdown!

50p a kilo will undercut the JS ppkg.

Keep 2kg and sell the rest for £7.
