So it's a complete guess then, probably influenced by what appears to be a bias against regulations.

I'm not the sort of person that unquestioningly accepts a reduction in my liberty without a compelling reason. There is no compelling reason in this case, nor in countless others.

FGS this is about a timber preservative, not your rights to a fair trial, freedom of expression and association, not about being spared police brutality, unlawful arrests, detention, surveillance etc.

Advising people to treat it with contempt doesn't make you a freedom fighter, it makes you ridiculous.
