Anyone know what this board is called between the floor and shower tray and where I would get it? It feels plastic-like but sounds more like wood when you knock it. I'm struggling to find the right words to search for it online!

I need some more for a different shower which currently has MDF skirting board around and doesn't deal well with the inevitable splashes of water.

I found some scraps in the shed. This is the front and back view. Seems a high density foam like material.

You have noticed the one in the link has a square edge ?? You definitely need a rounded edge.
If you have a Window Manufacturer on an Industrial Estate near you they’ll sell you it for a couple of quid, and it’ll be cut to size and they’ll mitre two ends for you

Oh why do I need rounded? I have ordered it now. I thought square would be easier at the corner between the two pieces. I did read some Amazon reviews (same product and supplier selling there) and some were complaining that one side was rounded unlike the picture so I might get away with it.

Rounded just looks ( in my opinion) a better finish and you won't need to run a big Silicone bead along the top. The purpose of the mitred edge is to make an invisible seam at that front corner, which you'll now need to cover up with another thin piece, or run another silicone head up.
