Once again, DIYNot proves we can argue about everything, and nothing.
For all those complaining about different types of coffee, how would you feel if it was announced that from now on, there was only one type of beer, and it was not the one you liked?
In answer to the original question, it could be a "flat white". although looks more foamy than steamed ... could be a large macchiato.

Reminds me of when I went to Starbucks with a work colleague of mine, a short tempered Scotsman from the Gorbals. When asked what he wanted, he said white coffee. Before the barista could even reply, I said he'd have a medium white americano, saved a possibly ugly scene I thought.

they do filter coffee too, that might have been what he wanted!

Trust me, coffee is coffee to him, he takes it white, that is all the info that is required or wanted by him.
Never touched the stuff (barring accidental intake, when picking up the wrong cup). Tea till six, beer thereafter
