Hi Mr Bodge,
You strike me as one of a group of people who's philosophy is if you want a job done right do it yourself (I can fully understand this).
You will be pleased to know that you can legally do this job yourself in your own home.
However, be warned that should anything bad happen because of the work that you have done you will be held fully responsible for the consequences.
.
Actually that's not so bad, if I can learn how to work on the gas safely I can dismantle it all , put the channels where they should have been in the first place and call a pro in to put it back together so then the gas work done on the house was just "installed and fitted boiler and fire".
Will be phoning up some lawyers to check that one out tho. BTW does that mean we can talk in the gas room and ask questions?
