I've made a cutout for my hob..

However, it is a little tight in one corner because I never cut this part flush with the rest of the laminate

In order to get it flush, what tool(s) would I need?

I'd be tempted to just clean that up with a rasp, but it depends what tools you have, and what access is like to get a skillsaw in there etc.

have you looked closely at the hob to see if partial clean up will do
for example a clip that's catching or a chamfer
or part depth for a lip for example
