I thought the XR 4x4 used the Bosch mechanical injection system? Was that the "K jetronic"?

I had K-Jetronic in a "B" reg Audi. 1984 I think. I had to buy a "special tool" for adjusting the diaphragm position to optimise the mixture. It moves according to mass of air passing, and lifts the needle. Reference docs said it was based on SU carburettor principles and the drawings looked dead simple.

OK, Spoke to him. NO the Qubo does NOT yet use AdBlue. They can get the Euro 6 limits just by using a Lean NOx Trap. But yes, it still has Eolys - though you shouldn't need to top it up for 70-odd thousand miles.
