exactly what ive been thinking! I see so many builders barrows in skips, or simply falling apart, our ones over here are so flimsey and really not built to last.
I know this is a very old thread (but not as old as my wheelbarrow, which has finally given up the ghost after well over 30, possibly over 40 years use, much of which time it's lived outside. Definitely from the "they don't make them like that any more" range).
Anyway - looking for advice on makes etc, I found this, and couldn't resist.
here's a couple of chairs I made out of old barrow frames, scaffold boards, and scrap. Gave them both away to friends a few years ago so dunno where they are now!
