Britain's Royal Family has ruled for over a thousand years, so I'd trust them with the country's interests more than I would a government that changes every 5 years according to current trends. We are the greatest country in all history, and the country that has done more for civilisation than any other. That greatness was directed by the various kings and queens working in God's name.

Communism / Marxism, which has never created anything good, is relatively new and has brainwashed our population against the Royal Family and against Christianity, in a relentless effort to destroy Britain. Go and open your front door to see what a mess it has made.

You're entitled to your position and hopefully you believe I'm entitled to mine. For me, the fact royal families have been around for 100s of years means very little in a modern progressive Britain. Whether they did good or bad back in the day, one thing we can agree on is they certainly exerted great true power and influence decades ago and beyond. Today, they are little more than figureheads with little true power, regardless of all the pomp and ceremony that surrounds them.

A bit like A list celebs, we could all be busy going from one event/function to another across the globe if we had a machine of people behind us catering for our every whim.

I also feel there's no need to take extremes. Just because someone maybe doesn't believe in having a royal family, it doesn't mean they have Communist/Marxist leanings. I can assure you I've not been brainwashed against anything.

The other way round (for me)... If Her Maj, whom I respect enormously, wants Charlie-boy's wife of many years to have the title 'Queen Consort' when Charles accedes, then that'll do for me.

It's the Monarchy, the entire point is that they decide things and we have no control or choice in the matter.

Also, it doesn't really matter what the current Queen says, when she dies it will be Charles' decision and he can do what he likes.
