I feel sometimes so disconnected from the rest of you. I know you all come from different parts of the world but for the most part you seem to be in the same part of the world...hope this makes sense.

I dont know yer politics, dont have a clue really what daily life is about for any of you. Seems to be, for the most part....except for 'exceptions' LOL...the same. But yet sometimes I feel isolated. Do you ever feel that way?
Any suggestions on how to bridge this huge gap that I (and others) affectionately call the "pond"?

Just pondering.....
cheers ;)

Well a good start would be to have a full English breakfast every morning: Bacon, fried eggs, sausage, tomato, fried bread, black pudding and plenty of bread. Oh and a pot of Coleman's English mustard. Gradely tha'nos. ;)

all in one meal? sounds like i need to get a bigger nose bag   !!

Or a Scottish breakfast, which is the same but with boiled potatoes.

Or the heathy option, porage followed by kippers with brown bread and a mug of NATO tea,

Are you fat or just pigheaded?

This is going rapidly downhill, so i will attempt to rescue it.

The full english breakfast that gcol mentioned is a great start to a day, but it is usually the preserve of the long distance lorry driver, and for the rest of us less calorie-conscious people on the occasional day off work when we have time to prepare it! More commonly eaten on sundays.

A more usual breakfast is cereal and milk, or toast and jam, due to these being quicker to prepare and devour.

so, you eat a lot and argue. hmmm...sounds familiar ;)

but how do you spend your day? Generally speaking that is?

Arguing with people on the net.....

Cleaning, cooking and dog walking/grooming. But hopefully will soon be going back to work a few days a week as well :D

In the good old days when you could go to MSN chat rooms, I got chatting to what turned out to be an American chat room, now this lot must have lived on the prairies, they used to bake cakes, cook jam & all the other things that us Brits used to watch on progarmmes like Bonaza (whos old to remember that one).

Scott, did you happen to notice the little man fishing? Looks like I cast out and reeled in a whopper.

I knew some proud Scottish muppet would bite.
Only teasing Scott, I have nothing against you Scots at all.
And I don't really eat a full English brekkie every day - again I was only teasing.
Chin up!
