Dead sure when I did it (and still when I do it now) - but it appears that DIYnot is playing with the links and making them unusable from forum posts. One of these may get around that (cop/paste URL into your browser for 'Code' version)....

Code:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2507978.m570.l1313&_nkw=%270.047uf+capacitor+275v&_sacat=0

.... and you should eventually see this ....

This might help ref the fuse

Are you in Australia John? Profile says Cook Islands.
I normally use UK sellers but do buy some things from China. Delivery is pretty good.

I don't think that it has yet been mentioned specifically
but
capacitors which are to be connected across "Mains" voyage must be rated as "Class X" (or "Class Y" ).
Indeed so. Certainly all of the first few (hence probably many/most of the others) of those 55 products found by eBay search are listed as Type X2 ones.

I gave links to what I think you wanted... from UK eBay sellers. The capacitor mention Kenwood Chef in the listing, too. Both links seem to work for me today, if the forum is mangling other links??

Note the capacitor listing stated "Replacing just a blown capacitor, will only prolong the mixer's life temporarily, as normally something else has caused it to fail." So if it is for a Kenwood Chef check out some of the other repair kit listings? Just in case.

I prefer ceramic / sand-filled fuses as they don't shatter the glass when they rupture. But if the motor has a very high inrush current it may need to be a time delay style - usually marked as T on the metal ends. The ones I linked to are fast blow i.e. normal use.

CPC Farnell don't sell 30mm long 6mm diameter fuses (I looked) but the capacitor there was bit cheaper (not after their small order surcharge though).

In my case, I think the two capacitors failed due to age. I did buy a kit, some time ago, two capacitors, two resistors, one triac, two brushes, but mislaid the one capacitor mentioned here before I got round to it. Both capacitors and one resistor were blown, I don't know which of them triggered the release of magic smoke. There was quite a lot of it.

I gather that a class Y or X2 would have failed open circuit, and probably caused less damage to other components.
