One would hate to assume that Vinty singled her out simply because of her 'appearance'.
Although his erroneous 'identifying' of her as a 'foreigner' does make one fear that this might well be the case.

It's a shame that Vinty doesn't celebrate the fact that parliament has 'taken back control' as the leave campaign demanded...

As per the thread title, where do we go from here?

What we should be doing is having an honest conversation about Brexit: stop the slogans and learn what it actually means.

The whole thing has been mismanaged.
The Brexit planning and negotiating should have been done before triggering A50.

And Theresa May should never have agreed to sequencing.
That has meant MPs having to vote for something with no idea of the outcome.


But there wont be an honest discussion.
Brexit is tied up with party politics.
The Torys want it to persue their Singapore tax haven version
Corbyn wants it to persue his socialist dream
We dont know how many of the country want it still but its around half.

The likely way forward is some half in half out compromise.

How that pans out in parliament.....anybodys guess

Anyway now I've calmed down phew.

Yes where do we go from here. I've had to make a few edits to my flowchart here as some dodgy member of the spider clan has put a spanner in my masterplan.

So.. Boris comes back to parliament takes some flack from the other children.
Opposition and remain factions continue to denigrate the government without actually resolving anything.
Boris proposes a new Brexit deal which on paper is an improvement on May's but Is instantly vetoed by the now over zealous majority of parliament excited to be at the wheel of an increasingly lurching overloaded (with foreigners most probably) cruise ship being the UK.
Finally..when they have decided they want to...A new GE is agreed November time, after Boris is forced to ask for an extension whilst muttering Juncker youre a xxxxx under his breath.. the timing aimed to frustrate the public enough for the opposition to campaign not only is Boris one of those rare dying breeds that LIES! Also he Failed to deliver on Brexit hes a liar again.
Meanwhile the remainers get it wrong again due to infighting the vote is split between 4 parties we have a tory/Brexit party new government with a majority of about 5.

No fly you're wrong whilst May forwarded this motion it was the 384 majority of MPs who agreed to Article 50 if you want to blame anyone blame the house. Which takes me back to wtaf are they playing at here oh they didnt know what they were voting for... they got us in this mess they need to sort it out and stop fighting.

We need an extension to A50 on the proviso another referendum is run and then afterwards a GE.

Why run a GE to solve a referendum that was created to solve Tory infighting.

To the leavers saying this is undemocratic I will frame it as this, do you want to leave? You said yes. Are you sure? If you say yes then let's leave. If you say no then it goes to show the original referendum was never conclusive.

I have frequently pointed out that 75% of MPs are for remain and should not alter their views on what is best for the country.
Indeed - cannot alter their views just because you disagree.
