Most companies will give their preferred suppliers as they have particular expertise or favourable terms with that manufacture e.g. I will mostly recommend Intergas as I am a P5 installer so can give longer warranties, they have great support and backup and I believe their kit is some of the best all round on the market. How else can anyone recommend a particular bit of kit unless they have experience with it?? Unfortunately though some installers recommend a piece of kit because they get nice presents when they install a certain amount rather than it being the best bit of kit to fit.
