Where to buy Formica(or similar)?

I'm hoping to put together a router table some time shortly, and most of the designs I've found are covered in SRBP laminate, such as Formica. Where on earth can you buy this? I've searched with Google for ages, but can't find anything.
Edit: I now searched this forum, and found out how expensive Formica is. So should I be looking for laminate faced MDF or chipboard?

how about going to a kitchen fitter and asking for an offcut of worktop?

i accept melamane or formica give you a smoother surfce
but to be honest mdf is a very good smooth surface ideal for a router table top
if made correctly you can replace the top with little effort with a new piece
although ive never found the need
