I live in a 1930's semi with an attractive open arched porch with a wood and original lead glazing interior door and surround. It is absolutely freezing. We've put up with it now for two winters and I have put draught bead sponge around door frame to try to keep the worst out, but it really does not do much. It makes the whole house cold. So far I've resisted putting on external doors because it will spoil the look of the house, but the wife has now made me succumb to the practical. I'm looking for ideas to close off the porch in the most sympathetic manner.
Any help appreciated.
