I don't agree that Viessman are any better than most
and Baxi's quality is debatable. ATAG have a good reputation but I am no expert on them. The broag-remeha is good value but the quality is no better than average and certainly not better than the Vaillants.
they share many of the same components. Broag are also a better design, especially in the control system. They also have integrated waether compensation as standard. No contest.

I really do wish there was a UK manufacturer who made a decent and reliable boiler, but as there isn't I will continue to fit Dutch or German boilers
